Health & Diet

Caring for cats is our passion and at Lodley Cattery we adhere to strict guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of our feline guests.

Medication and Diet

Please advise us at the time of booking of any medical conditions or specific dietary needs. We will happily cater for specific dietary needs and administer any prescribed medication providing written permission is given from owners.

Our feline guests are offered a variety of the highest quality wet and dried food according to their individual requirements. Litter trays, food and water bowls are serviced throughout the day.

Prescription diets can be catered for during your cats stay, however, we request that you supply this food.

Individual records are kept of dietary preference and performance along with any medication administered thus ensuring that health and wellbeing is closely monitored on a daily basis.

In the unfortunate event of your cat developing an illness during their stay you can be assured of prompt veterinary treatment.

Vaccinations

All cats, including kittens, must have a valid vaccination certificate and all vaccinations (including boosters) must be completed at least 2 weeks before boarding in order to ensure maximum protection.

Vaccination must include feline parvovirus also known as feline infectious enteritis, feline panleukopenia and feline respiratory viruses (feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus).

Please Note

We are unable to accommodate any cat without proof of a valid vaccination certificate.

We are unable to accommodate any unneutered male cats over the age of 7 months.

Please ensure your cat is up to date with their flea and worm treatment prior to boarding with us.
